Tram Tours are free with admission. We invite you to soak in the beauty of the Garden's most popular areas as you take a relaxing ride on one of our all new electric trams. Listen to your guide's informative narration while you tour through colorful landscapes, and return each season to experience transformed views.

Grand Tram Tour

Get carried away on this 2.3-mile narrated tour. Learn the history and science of the Garden while viewing highlights including the McDonald Woods, Elizabeth Hubert Malott Japanese Garden, the Regenstein Learning Campus, and others. Enjoy views alongside the Garden’s 81 acres of water.

Grand Tram Tours run daily, weather permitting, from late April to late October and last about 35 minutes each. Check in with a Garden Admissions representative as departure times and availability vary. Availability is on a first-come, first-served basis and requires riders to present a membership card or admission ticket to board the tram. Board at the Welcome Plaza.
Trams are wheelchair accessible.
